We are thrilled to bring you one of our biggest updates yet! In this release, we’re introducing a brand-new way for your clients to interact with your business, along with a suite of powerful scheduling, expense management, and mobile UI upgrades designed to make running your pet care business smoother than ever.
Here is a breakdown of everything new in DiggDawg!

Introducing: The DiggDawg Client Booking App
We are launching a dedicated Booking App designed specifically for your clients. This new portal empowers pet owners to manage their schedule, while saving you hours of administrative back-and-forth.
Pricing Details: The Client Booking App will eventually become a premium subscription tier costing £9.99 per month. However, to celebrate the launch and let you experience the benefits firsthand, it will be 100% FREE for the first 6 months of its release!

What Your Clients Can Do:
- Self-Service Booking: Clients can book services, group walks, and holidays directly based on your availability.
- Profile Management: Let clients keep their own contact information, address, and pet details up to date.
- Event History & Documents: Clients can access a complete history of their pet’s bookings and view any attached documents (such as vaccination certificates, consent forms, or contracts).
- Privacy-First Group Bookings: When booking group walks, clients will only see the date, time, and the number of free slots remaining. All other details—including the walk title and other client/dog names—are completely hidden to ensure absolute privacy.

Supercharged Repeat Walk Templates
Managing recurring dog walks just got a lot more flexible. We’ve overhauled repeat events to give you template-level control without sacrificing individual schedule flexibility.
Future-Proof Editing: Any changes you make to a repeat template will only apply to future walks yet to be generated, leaving your past history and already-mapped walks untouched.
14-Day Autofill: When you create a new repeat template, DiggDawg automatically maps out and creates the first 14 days of events in your diary.
Detached Walk Logic: Walks generated from a repeat template are now fully “detached” once created. This means you can edit, reschedule, or change the dogs on a specific walk without breaking or altering the master repeat template.
Day Selection: Easily choose exactly which days of the week a repeat template should generate walks for.
Dog Exclusions: Have a dog that joins the group walk on Tuesdays but can’t make it on Thursdays? You can now exclude specific dogs from specific days directly within the repeat template.

Digital Receipt & Expense Uploads
Say goodbye to shoe boxes full of paper receipts. You can now upload PDFs and image files directly to your expenses in DiggDawg. Keep your digital paperwork organised and ready for tax season.

Tailored Dashboard Preferences
Customise your mobile dashboard view to see only the information that matters to you. In your settings, you can now toggle the visibility of:
Repeat Events Help: Toggle on-screen guidance and tooltips for managing your repeat templates.
Pickup & Dropoff Icons: Quickly spot which pets need transport.
Prebooked Indicators: Identify pending or pre-arranged bookings at a glance.
Completed Indicators: Mark off your finished walks visually.
